IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ART COLLECTORS

ART-HAVANA is advised by internationally recognized curators. They are the ones who select the most important contemporary artists to be visited. However, if requested, we can visit an artist not included in our selection.

Once in an artist studio or at ART-HAVANA art space, art lovers may fall in love with a given artwork. ART-HAVANA makes easy to buy any artwork ranging from painting to sculpture including artistic ceramics through the following amenities:

a.

Once the art collector has selected the artwork, ART-HAVANA accepts a minimum first payment in case the art collector does not have all the money. Once at home, he/she can transfer the rest of the amount to art-havana bank accounts either in Madrid or Havana.

b.

When the payment is completed, ART-HAVANA sends the art to the collector’s home through an airline courier within 15 days.

c.

If the art collector pays completely the artwork, he/she can take it to his/her country of origin.

d.

An official document from Patrimony Office is needed to take the artwork out of Cuba. We can get this certificate properly signed and stamped. The price of the certificate is 20 USD per up to five artworks from the same artist and is paid by the art collector.

e.

ART-HAVANA provides the certificate of authenticity (properly signed by the artist) as well as catalogues, curriculum, press file on the artist and an explanation on the specific artwork given by the artist himself.

f.

ART-HAVANA is in charge of packaging the art properly and free of charge.

 How the other Hav lives

I took a day´s tour with Art-Havana (art-havana.com), an online gallery created to meet the growing international demand for Cuban art, who also arrange guided tours of artists´ studio-homes... I learned more about modern Cuba from these artists in one day than I did in the rest of my two-week trip.
